FUCKING MASTERPIECE
You know, with the baby!Condesce out, I can’t help but think about what the Pre-Scratch world was like. I just find of have the headcanon that pre-scratch had trolls-raising-trolls because the lusii are sort of a symptom of Scratch’s influence on troll evolution, blah blah. So basically my headcanon is that they all lived on the same cul-de-sac in troll!Suburbia.
Feferi raised the Condesce and was pretty much the perfect mom and the Condesce resented this, so she kept doing HARDCORE THINGS like piercing her eyebrows and giving herself weird haircuts and Feferi was always like “Whatever you like dear 38)” and the Condesce was like “RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE” and they never really ever did quite understand one another.
Similarly, Vriska raised Mindfang, and was always trying to get her to go outside and play pirates and maybe break a bone or two but Mindfang was like “no I want to write pirate fanfiction instead.” And so Vriska would go over to Tavros’s house and say “I think we need to trade kids. Mine just wants to stay inside all day and yours won’t stay out of my front yard.”
Meanwhile Rufio climbs trees to get into Mindfang’s room through the window on the second floor. And he flirts with her hard. She writes fanfiction about the two of them being together forever but otherwise does not respond to his advances. And he thinks that she doesn’t like him so he just flirts harder, but really she doesn’t know how to respond to normal flirting unless it’s exactly like in a romance novel.
I’m sorry, my headcanon pre-scratch Mindfang is also a giant book nerd.
And yeah I’ll just shut my mouth now because I know how hard this is about to get jossed so GOODBYE TUMBLR
It’s been 11 years since the Baldur’s Gate series seemed to come to a satisfying conclusion, but it appears that BioWare might not be done yet. But with a new Baldur’s Gate website springing up, it looks like there will be something new for the franchise, but no one’s quite sure just what yet.
